Students may be required to complete one or more of the following courses before enrolling in college level courses. Summer and/or intercession courses may be required to graduate. Developmental course credits earned do not count towards degree completion requirements.

Information Systems - Network/Systems Administration
The Information Technology-Network/Systems Administration Certificate of Proficiency is designed for students to learn the fundamental skills of computer hardware and software repair. Students will learn basic skills in network technologies and equipment, tools and techniques for personal computer repair, managing routing and switching technology, and basic network wiring and physical layer technologies for an entry level position in computer systems administration. This degree is stackable with other certificates and degrees offered allowing completion of additional degrees in Network/Systems Administration. Upon completion of this certificate of proficiency, graduates will be prepared to take the industry certification exam, CompTIA A+. Students completing this degree are prepared for an entry position as a computer repair technician or Linux System Operator.
