NURS 1124 - Maternal-Neonatal Nursing Credits: 4 (8-week course) Maternal Neonatal Nursing is an 8 week course focusing on nursing care of the child-bearing family. The Student Learning Outcomes serve as the basis for course outcomes and are incorporated into experiences in theory and clinical. Emphasis is placed on the role and practice of the nurse in assisting the patient and family during the antepartal, intrapartal, postpartal, and neonatal periods. Lecture 4 hours per week, Clinical 12 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): NURS 1114
