ALDH 1022 - Staying the Course for Nursing and Allied Health Credits: 2 Staying the Course is an elective course designed to help Nursing and Allied Health students make wise choices for greater success in college. The students will learn essential study skills including reading, note-taking, studying, application, test-taking and writing for success in college. The course focuses on self-responsibility, self-awareness, personal empowerment, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and self-esteem. This will be accomplished through use of self-assessment tools, guided journal writing, and case studies in critical thinking.
