PLSC 2003 - American National Government Credits: 3 This course devotes full attention to the theory, organization, politics, functions, and problems of the federal system. It traces the patterns of growth of self-government to the adoption of the federal form; and it deals initially with general aspects of American government and then turns to national institutions, their powers, functions, and related activities. Prerequisite(s): ACT Reading score of 19 or higher (82 or higher on COMPASS) or CP 0913 with a “C” or better or co-requisite of CP 0912 .
