HIST 2003 - United States History I

This course surveys the significant phases of the history of the United States from its beginnings to the Civil War and Reconstruction. It stresses the political development of the republic and the military aspects of its rise to its present eminence as well as cultural, social and economic history. An honors section is available. Prerequisite(s): ACT Reading score of 19 or higher (82 or higher on COMPASS) or CP 0913  with a “C” or better or co-requisite of CP 0912 .
