CHEM 2214 - Organic Chemistry

This is a two-semester course in the fundamentals of organic chemistry recommended for chemistry, biology, and pre-professional majors. It studies the structure, properties, synthesis, and typical reactions of the various series of hydrocarbons and their derivatives with emphasis on reaction mechanisms. It is offered only on demand. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 2114 with a grade of “C” or better.
