AJ 2500 - Criminal Justice Internship


Credits: 3
This course provides an opportunity for students to earn credit toward the AAS in Criminal Justice through supervised on-the-job training in a field directly related to Criminal Justice. Job fields may include law enforcement agencies, juvenile courts, probation and parole departments, other correctional institutions, delinquency control programs or any other agency approved by the instructor. Three credit hours will be granted after 120 hours of supervised work experience. Lecture 3 hours per week.   Prerequisite(s): Completion of AJ 1003Introduction to Criminal Justice with a “C” or better, a minimum of 30 hours college credit with a GPA of at least 3.0 and permission of the Department Chair.
