BIOL 1004 - General Biology for Non-Majors Credits: 4 A survey of biology to include an introduction to the fundamental principles of living organisms including properties, organization, function, evolutionary adaptation, and classification. Introductory study of concepts of reproduction, genetics, ecology, and the scientific method are included. Not appropriate for biology or health science majors. Lecture 3 hours and laboratory 2 hours per week.
