PN 1013 - Clinical I

This clinical experience is accomplished in the nursing home setting and the hospital. The student will apply basic nursing concepts while caring for geriatric and adult patients. The student will complete assignments to demonstrate application of concepts learned in the classroom. Clinical contact hours equal a total of 128 hours over 8 or 16 weeks in the clinical setting. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1434 or BIOL 2214 and BIOL 2224 Corequisite(s): PN 1012 PN 1105
