CHEM 2204 - Organic Chemistry for Health Professions II

This course helps prepare students pursuing a career in health professions. Topics include :Fundamentals of hydrocarbon and functional group chemistry with emphasis on structure, properties, preparation, stereo chemistry, reactions (mechanism and synthesis), spectroscopy, and theoretical discussion of lab techniques. Prerequisite: CHEM 2104 with a C or higher. Lecture 3 hours and Laboratory 2 hours per week.
