MAT 1213 - Quantitative Reasoning Credits: 3 Quantitative Reasoning is designed to provide students with mathematical understanding and skills to be productive workers, discerning consumers, and informed citizens. Content strands include personal, state, and national finance; statistics and probability; mathematical modeling; quantities and measurement. Students will solve problems using mathematical reasoning involving logic, proportions, algebra, and relations. This course may serve as an alternative to College Algebra for the non-STEM major.
