CIT 1113 - Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials Credits: 3 This course describes the architecture, components, and operation of routers, switches and wireless devices. Students analyze, configure, verify, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols, basic LAN security and Wireless LAN systems. By the end of the course, students will have experience, through the use of labs and classroom instruction, with many of the networking components and concepts that comprise most of today’s networks. Lecture 2 hours and laboratory 2 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CIT 1103
