CIT 1253 - Network Security I

This course provides students with a fundamental understanding of network security principles and implementation. Topics include the types and methods of attacks, security topologies, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, physical security, security policies, and basic computer forensics. Lecture 2 hours and laboratory 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CIT 1103  or permission of instructor.
