This is a sequence that acquaints students with outstanding works of ancient, medieval and modern writers that have had a wide appeal outside the countries in which they originated. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1023 with a “C” or higher or permission of instructor; 2213 is not prerequisite for ENGL 2223. Honors section available.
