MLT 1002 - Orientation to Clinical Laboratory Science

This course introduces students to the concepts utilized throughout all disciplines which make up Clinical Laboratory Science. The content of the course includes clinical laboratory policies, medical terminology, laboratory safety, laboratory mathematics, medical law and ethics, and statistics and quality control utilized in the clinical laboratory. Lecture 2 hours per week.
