BIOL 2014 - Microbiology Credits: 4 3L, 3LL
The lecture part of this course places the emphasis on basic concepts of bacteria, viruses, fungi, metazoans, protozoans, and immunological principles as they relate to man and his environment. In the laboratory, emphasis is on identification and handling of microorganisms. Prerequisite(s): A “C” or better in any college-level biology course OR a “C” or better in CHEM 1214 or CHEM 1415 or a “B” or better in each of two semesters of high school chemistry.
