WLD 2223 - Welding Certification Preparation & Testing

Credits: 3
This course is designed to prepare students for industry-recognized welding qualification exams. This course offers guided practice in welding to AWS D1.1 or other applicable codes. Students will follow welding procedures, complete performance qualification test coupons, and undergo visual and bend or destructive testing. Instruction focuses on troubleshooting, consistency, and meeting code acceptance criteria. Lecture 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): WLD 1004
