WLD 2104 - Mig Welding (GMAW) & Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)

Students will develop intermediate welding skills using GMAW (MIG) and FCAW processes in multiple positions. Emphasis is placed on metal transfer modes (short circuit and spray), proper machine setup, shielding gas selection, and weld quality. Projects simulate real-world applications such as structural and industrial fabrication. Lecture 3 hours and Laboratory 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): WLD 1004
