CEO 2102 - Heavy Equipment and Jobsite Safety

This course focuses on advanced safety practices required for operating large heavy equipment and working on active construction sites. Students learn safe operating procedures for bulldozers, graders, excavators, and articulated haul trucks, as well as best practices for multi-machine coordination and communication with spotters and ground personnel. Instruction includes jobsite layout, traffic control, blind-spot management, load-handling risks, and emergency response procedures. Lecture 2 hours per week.
