MDIA 2313 - Media Aesthetics Credits: 3 This course offers a comprehensive understanding of multimedia elements and their practical application in creative storytelling and commercial production by investigating the connections between sight, sound, and motion and exploring the theories surrounding these elements. Students will craft compelling 2-5 minute short films, emphasizing the conceptualization and creation of impactful narratives. Additionally, there is a focus on practical applications in media by developing storyboards for commercial advertisements. Students will learn basic video editing techniques using industry standard software, enabling them to navigate and manipulate visual content effectively. Lecture 3 hours per week.
