ENGR 2104 - Building Envelope Analysis

This course will introduce the student to industry methods used in auditing a building envelope. Topics covered in lecture / Lab include building envelope inspection and analysis, diagnosing shell and duct leakage, analyzing HVAC systems, energy saving recommendations, blower door set up and testing, thermal imaging capture and interpretation, duct blasting, and preparation for the BPI Building Analysis Certification. Lecture 2 hours and Laboratory 4 hours per week.
