WLD 1453 - Welding Layout and Fabrication

This course covers the theory and practice of layout and fitting of pipe and structural steel. Basic welding skills with SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW are prerequisites. The student learns the process of fabricating structure from pipe and steel through a series of competency-based exercises. Prerequisite(s): WLD 1104. Lecture 2 hours and laboratory 3 hours per week.
