MAT 2204 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus I Credits: 4 The first course in calculus, including topics of functions (including exponential, trigonometric, and logarithmic), limits, continuity, differentiation, antiderivatives, inverse functions, and introduction to integration. This is a survey course appropriate for majors in health-related professions and general education (non-science) majors. The course content provides a foundation for work in health-related areas. It includes nomenclature, atomic and molecular structure, bonding, and reactions. Lecture 4 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): MAT 1305 with a C or better OR MAT 1223 and MAT 1233 with “C’s” or better in each OR Co-Req of MAT 1233. (ACTS Department/Number/Title - MATH 2405 Calculus I)
