ECON 2323 - Principles of Microeconomics Credits: 3 This introduces the fundamental concepts of microeconomics and focuses on economic decisions made by individuals, specifically consumers and producers. Specific topics include demand and supply, elasticity, consumer behavior, utility, costs of productions, types of competition, antitrust regulation, labor markets, distribution of income, and international trade. Emphasis is on the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills within various economic scenarios. Lecture 3 hours per week.
