It enables students to complete pre-requisites for the PN or Paramedic programs and acquire an employment credential in one semester.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates will be prepared to apply to Health Professions programs
This program is appropriate for students who are seeking the EMT, or Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) Program. It also prepares students for entry into the PN Program and the Paramedic Technical Certificate Program (not A.A.S.).
MAT 1013 - Mathematics for Career and Technology Credits: 3 or higher. Even if students place into a higher-level Math course, MAT 1013 is preferred to assure that medication calculation is completed in MAT 1013 prior to PN or Paramedic program entry.
