The recommended practice for signage is as follows: Northark ensures its signage is in compliance with the Arkansas Department of Transportation guidelines and standards, local zoning ordinances when and where applicable, the latest edition of the Arkansas State Requirements for Educational Facilities, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the most current ADA Standards for Accessible Design.  All permanent Northark signage shall include Northark branding and/or official colors and logo.  All signage must be approved by the Director of Public Relations & Marketing and/or the Coordinator of Student Activities & Organizations.  Temporary event signage must receive approval by the Director of Public Relations & Marketing and/or the Special Events Coordinator before being posted on campus.  Approved signage will be stamped with an “Approved” stamp that states the date of approval.
