This course studies the origins and development of the problems confronting a great industrialized world power. Both World Wars and the issues arising from them are topics of special emphasis. Prerequisite(s): ACT Reading score of 23 or higher and ACT composite score of 22 or higher or 92 or higher on COMPASS Reading OR 3.3 GPA with 12 or more college credit hours OR permission of instructor.
